Software ontwikkelen gebruik makend van OpenEdge ABL/Progress 4GL in de OpenEdge database omgeving; Beheren van de bestaande software; Technische ondersteuning bieden; Testen van de software; Schrijven van documentatie, procedures en handleidingen. Afgeronde opleiding richting IT. Kennis van ERP systemen. Je hebt minimaal 4 jaar ervaring als Systeem Ontwikkelaar in een OpenEdge ABL taal. Je beschikt over kennis van OpenEdge databases v10. Group Information Systems Manufacturing is an international department based in Friesland, responsible for the global implementation and support of ERP Manufacturing applications worldwide. Following a restructure, a vacancy has arisen for an Interface/Implementation analyst. Interface/Implementation analyst will participate in international project work on further system optimisation and new implementations to improve system performance and reliability. The Interface/Integration Analyst will participate in international project work on further systems optimisation and new implementations to improve systems performance and reliability. As part of the team responsible for the implementation of cross-system interface solutions world wide, the key responsibilities will include: Participate in optimization / enhancement projects on existing interface solutions, especially those related to warehousing, logistics and Track & Trace (T&T) by optimising existing & providing new functionality and by ensuring the Manufacturing Standard Company Model is being applied. Communicate and liaise with relevant business users regarding change request status, ensuring/manage agreed deadlines are met. Provide support and guidance to SupportDesk and LoB on warehousing, logistic and T&T interfaces Analysis and preparation of functional \ technical specifications in coordination with the Development team to support and enhance cross system communication. Ensuring compliance with Group standards on system implementation/data migration/interfaces implementation and maintenance/support processes and implemented business processes. Delivery and maintenance of documented procedures, work instructions and IS manuals and on-site user training. Cyclical analysis and review of interface based data exchange processes in order to ensure continuous improvement of existing solutions. Planning, co-ordination, preparation and pro-active participation in user acceptance tests and cross-system interface testing. Educated to a degree level ideally within an IT discipline Very good command of spoken and written English is essential Preferably 3 years of experience in IT support or implementation of logistic business processes Experience in maintenance of interfaces between ERP systems and/or between ERP systems and local/standalone applications Experienced with end user support integrations or environments Experience within Manufacturing environments Strong capabilities in application design, development and testing Significant experiences in data integration tools and interface technology Customer focus Strong orientation on agreed targets Excellent analytical skills Willing to travel internationally on a frequent basis PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES: Pro-active and reliable team player who is able to work on own initiative and independent if needed.
