Our client is currently seeking a French speaking Legal counsel. You will be based in Amsterdam to help the growth of the business in EMEA. You will be drafting and negotiating, with external parties a wide variety of commercial agreements including customer license agreements, professional services agreements, partner agreements, confidentiality agreements, data licensing agreements, distribution and agency agreements. Also you will provide commercially focused legal advice on responses to tenders, IP, Data Protection, Competition Law, EU regulations, compliance and corporate governance matters. We're looking for an enthusiastic team player who is service minded and has a University law degree with a minimum of 4-5 years of relevant legal experience. There is a preference to dual qualification, but it's not a mandatory. You have Legal experience with IP, software/technology licensing and (commercial) contract law, including drafting, negotiating and concluding a wide variety of international contracts. The French and English language must be fluent you're able to quickly analyze complex factual situations and identify, understand and evaluate key risk issues.

Je doet dat onder de directe verantwoordelijkheid van het Hoofd IBB. Je voert zelfstandig procedures bij de Rechtbank waaronder de bestuursrechter en de kantonrechter en de Centrale Raad van Beroep. In dit kader draag je zorg voor het zelfstandig opstellen van processtukken en het afwikkelen van vonnissen en uitspraken. Uiteraard zorg je voor correcte, volledige en inzichtelijke dossiervorming. Daarnaast adviseer je de sociaal-juridisch medewerkers en regiobestuurders op jouw kantoor over zowel de collectieve als de individuele juridische kwesties in het kader van hun werkzaamheden. Tenslotte houd je de ontwikkelingen in de arbeids-, ambtenaren- en sociale zekerheidswetgeving en jurisprudentie bij en adviseer en informeer je gevraagd en ongevraagd collega’s over deze onderwerpen. Wat verwachten we van je? Je hebt rechten gestudeerd, afstudeerrichting Nederlands Recht, met bij voorkeur arbeidsrecht en/of ambtenarenrecht en sociaal zekerheidsrecht als specialisatie. Ervaring met individuele belangenbehartiging c.q. vakbondswerk en proceservaring is een pré. Je communiceert zowel mondeling als schriftelijk vlot en vaardig en je bent uiteraard accuraat.
